At AnywhereNow, we are committed to providing accessible and inclusive digital experiences for all users. As part of this commitment, we design and develop our products with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)2.2, aiming for Level AA conformance.
Products in Scope
We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA conformance with the following products
We aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA conformance with the following products:
The conformance statements above apply to the AnywhereNow default theme and default templates. WebChat offers many customization options that allow users to tailor the experience to their needs. However, when users modify elements such as the template structure, markup, or content, these changes may impact the accessibility of the product. As a result, customizations are considered outside the scope of our accessibility commitment and are made at the user's own risk.
Similarly, plugins and iFrames are considered out of scope for accessibility compliance. While we aim to support accessible integration wherever possible, we cannot guarantee conformance for third-party or embedded components.
Audit and Current Status
A Web Content Accessibility Guidelines(WCAG) 2.1 certificate has been granted to the AnywhereNow Attendant Console, the Front End application used by both Attendant Console for Dialogue Cloud and Attendant Console for Microsoft Teams. The official certificate (.pdf) can be viewed by clicking the image at the bottom of the page.
In August 2025 we engaged an external accessibility specialist to conduct an independent audit of WebChat and WebAgent against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The audit identified both strengths and areas for improvement. While we have not yet reached full conformance, we are actively working to address the findings and prioritize accessibility in our ongoing product development.
Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is not a one-time effort. As we continue to build and iterate on our UIs, we:
Known Issues
We are aware of a number of areas where WebChat and WebAgent currently fall short of WCAG 2.2 Level AA, including:
- Zoom and Reflow: In some cases, zooming beyond certain levels may result in information being lost or certain features no longer working as expected.
- Non-Text Content: A limited amount of buttons that use only icons do not currently include alternative text or accessible labels, which may make them unusable for screen reader users.
- Custom Controls: In some parts of the interface, custom-built components are used in place of standard HTML elements(such as buttons or links). These may not always expose the correct name or role to assistive technologies
We are actively working to resolve/dissolve these issues as part of our development backlog.
